Waterproof best in beddding

This beautiful gray mattress protector does a great job of protecting my mattress from all types of liquids, but I'm not a fan of the material. I prefer a nice soft and smooth sheet, but this mattress topper is more like a rough texter. This requires me to put another sheet on top of the mattress pad, but it would be a lot easier to just have a mattress pad if it were smoother. If that's not a problem for you, it's actually great for blocking out all types of liquids and keeping your mattress clean and new.
