Compared to other cases I have this one is really good for the price, it's thin, ribbed and has good corner protection. My only complaint is that the bottom of the iPad, the part that comes in contact with the surface, is open. In most situations, this is fine as it rests on two corners of the case, but in situations where both aren't present, such as an uneven surface or the part of the iPad hanging from the edge, it rests against the aluminum frame of the iPad , which can be easily dented. I understand the iPad sits at a lower angle when there's more body underneath as the lid needs to be long to accommodate it, but I think it's a fair compromise for more protection. If they ever changed the design of the case I would have it back in a heartbeat.
