I have a 105 gallon aquarium that used to be lit with a single halogen light which was causing the tank to overheat, excessive algae and I was unable to don't get a single coral species growing after at least 10 attempts. My aquarist suggested another light but tried to sell me a whole LED rig for hundreds of dollars because he couldn't find any bulbs for my aquarium. I took a chance and bought this lightbulb and it's fantastic. My corals are growing like never before. The temperature is such that I could extend the time the lights are on to coincide with sunrise and sunset. Significantly less algae - had to clean the walls with halogen every week, now most are fought by snails. The fish are much more active and really fit into this spectrum in color.
