Today I received two cables of excellent quality and appearance. Along with these cables, I also purchased an Anker Quick Charge 3.0 wall power connector. When I connected it to my S9 via the original wall charger, the phone showed a slow charging notification, I turned it off but the notification was still there. After trying the second cable, it didn't charge at all. I blamed my S9's charging port, so I've tried connecting other devices like the Anker wireless charger (via Anker 3.0 fast charging) and another phone, but still the same results. Too bad they both broke because I actually have several Anker products from cables to wall and car chargers to a wireless charger and they work great! I should mention that I bought 2 black and 1 gray cables for my LG phone last year, the black ones were and work great but I had problems with the gray one, it kept stopping charging the phone. I contacted Anker support and they immediately gave me another gen. But it was also gray and after a while the cord didn't fit freely enough with the phone and it also had to be thrown away. I think black cables are better quality than others, but maybe I'm wrong. Finally, I do not recommend you to buy this cable, there is a good chance that you will receive a defective one! TO UPDATE! Not a day or two, but literally a few hours after the ticket was submitted, Anker's support contacted me, apologized for the issues with the cable, and agreed to send a replacement cable! It's amazing how anker support works, they do a great job! As soon as I get a replacement and see that they work I will update this comment, but despite this issue I know I would choose Anker over any other brand because their warranty really works and they really feel responsible for their products! UPDATE: The replacement was delivered a few days after submitting the ticket and the new cables work perfectly, with Anker's fast charger, standard wall charger, wireless charger and also on PC the transfer speed is great, I've had no problems connecting my devices with these cables . The great thing is that you are always safe with Anker products, you can buy them knowing that the warranty terms work and you will in no way feel like you have wasted your money.
