Based on what it does at this price point I think it would be a decent product. It seems to get the job done, but not without a few hiccups. And I have a catch that has made this device unusable for me. I have 3 monitors plus a Valve Index VR headset. But my index cannot communicate through this device. When turning on the monitor, the Steam VR software tells me that the index is not connected as expected. But when I switch to the index port and try again, it tells me that the graphics card cannot connect to the index. See attached picture. I use high quality DP cables, although I have tried cables from another manufacturer with the same results. I've tried every other display port on the graphics card, still nothing. The software knows the index exists but cannot contact it. So I have to keep reaching for the computer to swap out cables if I want to go into VR and send this switch back. Not a big problem I know. However, I would rather avoid possible wear and tear on the graphics card and cables.
