Good price for accessories

I use a lot of macros in my work and want to save time instead of creating auto hotkey scripts. So I wanted to get a mechanical keyboard with macro keys on the left. When I saw that it had onboard memory and that an equivalent mechanical keyboard with left macro keys (which doesn't have onboard memory) was $180, I decided to give this one a try instead. Pros: A bit soft at first, but takes some getting used to. The macro keys are in the perfect spot. The built in recording is nice although I don't use it much and now that I've had the opportunity and I see I don't use it much I wouldn't pay more for it. The colors are pleasant. The software lets you reprogram each key and macro recording is easy, plus you can add mouse clicks. Cons: Software. While you can create all kinds of macros and save profiles, the way macros are saved is weird and it's very easy to override them. It's also hard to figure out how to delete a macro from a key when you want it unprogrammed again (you have to jump to a key as if you want to map it to another key and just leave it blank - I've had trouble figured that out first and emailed the company and they had no idea what I was talking about). You cannot use a REC button to record macros on a button that has software macros enabled. It would be nice if you could and that would temporarily disable that particular key in software macros. You also can't save anything to onboard memory unless it's currently allocated, so it's not possible to create different profiles without actually creating macros in the software itself (instead of just hitting REC). Once you delete it, it will disappear and you will have to write it down again. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I just wish there was a way to save manually recorded macros (other profiles with a keyboard switch would be nice) as I use the built-in macros very little now, otherwise I'd have to keep reprogramming my defaults to switch to them on the fly change. Still beats AHK when I just need to get them to hit a certain number of tabs and spaces or whatever for a specific task. Just delete the profile in the software and REC with the built-in dongle. Voila. For less than 40€ I think this is a good buy. I ended up getting a macro mouse from the same brand as well. I <3 automation.
