This is the first lotion I've ever used that doesn't feel like I'm putting lotion on. I apply a little in the morning at the start of the day and after a shower. This is the first product that actually seems to be balanced. My face looks normal as it should on a good day. It moisturizes and makes my face comfortable all day. I also noticed that it is good for dry skin. I have to say this is not a shaving lotion, you need something with lots of vitamin E (Proraso Aftershave Balm and Woods Foam and Aftershave work well). I have no complaints. It doesn't smell, although I wish there was an option, but that's not a problem. Good product.
