I like the smell. My son and husband hate it so it's definitely a personal preference. My husband is not a "manly man" and loves candles, laundry sprays, and other scented items (he usually brings them home), but he swears they smell like vomit to him. I keep buying it for myself and my daughter and the men in the house have theirs. Aloe vera, olive oil and essential oils in it prevent your hands from drying out, so this is a good everyday soap. However, I still use the harsher antibacterial soap for dirtier times instead because I'm not sure it will sanitize my hands. I also wish I could buy larger refill packs. Therefore I only give 4 stars. I have all the products of this fragrance, but honestly I don't care about others. The counter spray has a degreaser but no disinfectant - they understandably added ingredients to cleaners for real cleaning purposes that have a scent stronger than a pear, like eucalyptus or something. Someone said the packaging was different so they believed it was fake. I've bought direct from Caldrea many times and the packaging was different from them too.
