As others have said, order one size up. Otherwise the son wears 3T and 4T fits him and probably won't fit him next summer. The fabric is pleasantly soft. However, when you get smudges on lighter colors - dinosaurs and beach prints on light blue and yellow - don't expect them to go away (and what kid doesn't get smudges on their shirts?). For the price they seem like a great deal, but stick with darker colors and/or grays if you intend to wear more than a few times without any visible blemishes.
