I always use a solar toothbrush. I bought a new one from Revain about a year ago and am in the process of buying another. They are cool. However, full illumination is required for the solar panel to function. I brush my teeth in the bathroom and turn on the overhead light. I have an electric toothbrush, but it works better. The only thing is that I have two brushes and one with a longer handle. I prefer this one to this one because the handle is shorter. But the bottom line is that it works. I use toothpaste, but it's not necessary. However, remember not to rinse for at least 10-15 minutes.
