These networks change lives! I love them and my horses too!

HayChix Slow Feed hay nets Top marks! I have two draft horses that eat like horses. These nets have changed my feeding schedule and improved the quality of life for my horses and me! I was initially very skeptical about using a hay net as part of my daily feeding regimen. Other nets I've tried only last a few days, difficult and awkward to fill and hang, and the hay eventually turns into bedding 😕 I'm a prime snob too. Don't let that fool you, they are totally worth the extra shipping cost! In fact, this is the second time I've ordered these nets, all because they save lives! I work 12-hour shifts as a surgical nurse and every free minute in my morning routine is worth its weight in gold. With these nets I can hay 48 hours and simply change the nets in the morning. Each net holds 30-35 pounds of hay (half a small square bale). I have found that less hay is wasted with these nets and now that horses are used to having 24/7 access to hay they tend to 'graze' in their nets throughout the day to come and to go and chew. Instead of chewing the granola I used to throw away and pacing around the enclosure like maniacs waiting for their next meal. So I spent a little more on HayChix's excellent hay nets (and I did mention they are very well made, very easy to use and durable) but I feel like they have already paid for themselves by saving my time saved and reduced wastage hay and improve my horse's ability to graze more slowly and naturally throughout the day. I recommend these nets to anyone who wants the best for themselves and their horse! UPDATE: It's been almost three years and my HayChix nets are still in use every day and working fine! I honestly have only the best things to say about these excellent hay nets. With these nets I save an average of two bales a week compared to loose feeding and as hay costs continue to rise these nets save me money, time and make my horses safer, healthier and happier. And did I mention they are virtually indestructible!?! They are defeated by my horses and I once had to use the extra rope provided to mend a tear in a square of the net about two years ago. Many thanks to HayChix and their great product!
