Air Tamer ionizers are excellent devices. I bought my first Air Tamer A302 after getting sick flying to Atlanta airport to go to America's cancer treatment centers. Since chemotherapy has weakened my immune system, I can easily get sick and end up in the hospital. You can wipe down airplane seats, trays and blinds, but when someone sneezes, bacteria and viruses can hang in the air for more than 15 minutes. I need some protection for the air I breathe and wearing a mask all the time can get hot and uncomfortable. After purchasing an Air Tamer (battery model with barbed wire) I never got sick flying into Atlanta Airport again! And that's saying something, because it's the busiest airport in the US, and it's also an international airport, so full of viruses and bacteria. I carry an Air Tamer whenever I need to walk around people, like when I'm shopping at Publix. Since wearing it, it has saved me from flu and bronchitis. It also helped a lot with stubborn pollen in St. Petersburg, Florida. which was an unexpected benefit. (I've also bought standalone negative ion generators for the home and a small in-car generator - they work great and I highly recommend them to all cancer patients as well as healthy people.) I was hesitant to buy this model as well USB charged. I used to always carry spare batteries in my purse and when the batteries died I could easily replace them anywhere. The A310 isn't like a cellphone where you have an image that reflects the available charge, so I felt a little uncomfortable having an Air Tamer that could drop me off in the middle of a shop or at the infusion center during the day. Well after wearing this new one for a month I can say that it really does hold a 150 hour charge. The cable is so soft and never scratches like the A302. I've had 2 A 302's for over 4 years and the drivers have finally worn down to a little dent! The A310 has a long emitter so I think it should last even longer. I am very happy with this model and it is worth the money. The nurses at the infusion center always let me explain my Air Tamer to other cancer patients. This was an important part of my cancer treatment that has kept me safe from other people's germs when my white blood cell count is 1.0 and 2.0 and my neutrophil count is 700. I want all chemo patients to know about these devices, and I hope they will protect them as well as they protect me.
