Good quality control of webbing could be better

I have had some issues with aluminum webbing in the past. This one is no different. My shooting sling had a full back loop which I despised and refused to wear simply because flatbread would not fit through the sling loops. This one I bought couldn't even get the strap through the male part of the buckle because the nylon webbing was too wide so I had to cut a corner off it and burn the end. Otherwise I really like the belt. Not as stiff (which is a good thing) as my ribbed shooting sling, but strong enough to carry a Glock 20 with a 6" barrel and a spare magazine. And no problem with any of my iwb guns. I like the Raptor buckle better than the Cobra buckle because it's lighter and more ergonomic. The finish isn't as good as the Cobra, but I don't care. If I had to compare the stiffness of this belt I would say it's slightly stiffer than the 5 Stitch Wildlife and not as stiff as the Elite Survival Belt.

Pros
  • Reinforced webbing loop connector
Cons
  • Quality
