Bought this cable to connect a 2009 Surface Pro to a basic 40" LCD TV. The quality of the cable is better than most expensive ones on the market and the ends are exactly as expected (Mini Displayport to HDMI). Both TV and tablet recognized the connection, no displayport signal issues like some people with cheap cables have. Picture quality - without settings. Settings - was damn good (see video) Recommended for basic settings - do not use in active or bi-directional applications Video captured while I was setting up the ambient light box.
