We have just remodeled our kitchen including worktops. I wanted something to protect them when I took out the hot casserole dish. I just love these two pillows. In fact, they're quite thick and large enough to place any pan on top and not touch the countertop. I can use them as hot trivets to get things out of the oven but mostly mine is used as a trivet. They are beautiful enough to simply serve straight to the table. I also like that they are very easy to clean.
