Torn after a week with very infrequent use

I've had it for a week now. It was mostly kept in one room but tonight I picked it up to carry and the plastic on the handle broke. Very disappointed in its durability and it's not even fully wrapped yet. Update: After the full Christmas break I'm increasing my star level because the hiatus hasn't really impacted how it works. Still, I probably wouldn't buy it again.
