I think having two bristles with different stiffness is a great option. Different areas of my body have different levels of resistance to bristle stiffness, and many shower brushes have proven to be too hard for my sensitive skin. This brush comes with a reversible brush head. One side consists of soft synthetic bristles and the other side consists of hard natural bristles with built-in massage rubber "bulbs". My skin preferred the soft/synthetic side in almost everything except maybe on the legs. The bristles are dense (especially the synthetic side) so they hold the foam well. Bamboo brush handle with rubber inserts on both sides. I'm a small person and I found it difficult to clean for a long time - my hands were a bit tired. The handle is too wide for me. Probably normal for people of normal build. This is a straight handle, not a curved one. I honestly haven't had success with curved handles, so straight handles are fine! The handle is long enough to get almost anywhere. There's a little cotton cord for hanging that's not really big enough to go through most showerheads or faucet handles, but there's an included hook that can be attached to the wall for hanging. it's happening I didn't use a hook. I usually hang mine on my bathroom cabinet handles so it can dry better outside of the shower. Things never dry up here in Florida!
