We live in the flat corn and soy fields of Northwest Ohio. country of the wind. Tired of traditional outdoor tables and umbrellas that deflate and break easily, I built a 14 foot 2x8 picnic table long enough for two 9 foot umbrellas. For optimal benefit for those sitting at it, this table needs to be moved around our deck, even incrementally, to adjust to the position of the sun in the sky. Without wheels, no one, not even four strong men, would be able to do this. I didn't know "scratch free" wheels existed and the first set I put on was black rubber and ruined the look of our painted deck. My wife always helped me to solve the problem. These wheels solved my problem. No black spots! Not only that, they spin amazingly! Serious! Almost too good. (Thank goodness for the locks!) I use a wheelchair and can easily move this huge picnic table with one finger. Definitely a great product. Strong and well built.
