I recently purchased a Royal Jewelz Lab garnet pendant necklace in 10k yellow gold for my niece's January birthday. While the heart-shaped garnet gemstone is undeniably beautiful, I was a little disappointed with the size of the stone. Only 6.00mm, that was less than I expected. While the diamond accent is a nice touch, it was difficult to spot without looking closely. However, the 18" chain is just right so the pendant sits perfectly on the collarbone. All in all, while it might not be the most dazzling decoration, it makes a sweet and sentimental gift for any January baby in your life.
