Rinse Ace Bath Aid with 8ft Extra Long Quick Connector/Detachable Hose and 3-Stage Sprayer/Pause Mode, White We are seniors with arthritis, I need to sit in the shower, my wife I prefer with standing with a fixed shower head. Little did I know that to use the fixed shower head, you have to remove the hose each time by squeezing very hard and then twisting while squeezing. This is difficult for any young person and almost impossible for someone over 70 with arthritis. The hose must then be reconnected in order to use the hand shower. This plastic joint will not last long. I read the product description and details and it was not mentioned otherwise I would not have bought. Even the product photo shows a raised button on the hose which I assumed was a switch. You can see in my attached photo this is not a switch knob. I had to disconnect and replace my stationary shower. I'll be back. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE My recommendations - add this information to the product description, add a diverter to the connector so you don't have to constantly remove the hose for the fixed shower head.
