Softer than I expected. Good medium weight hat, not too heavy but not a light thin hat. What I really like is the stretch, it doesn't pinch my head too tight like many hats do. What I like best is that they don't have loud, obnoxious lyrics like Tommy Hilfiger. Just a nice stylish set. Expensive but about what you would expect from a brand. However. For the price I would have expected a better job of keeping batches of yarn dyed more evenly. The scarf has several "stripes" that do not belong to it. Gray is lighter, and that's obvious. It looks like a cheap scarf, not something designer.
