Parents' head can't cope.
Parents, be careful, the bristles do not clean and clean well. Too soft and cheap! I bought this for my daughter for Christmas 2020, she has been using it daily ever since and even changes brush heads regularly. I have a joke so I changed it along with mine. I noticed her teeth didn't look clean after every cleaning, so I took the liberty to help, but still couldn't get the job done the way I wanted. Against the best of my knowledge, I let her continue to use the brush only to find when we visited her annually recently that she had developed tooth decay! This is a first for her, she has never had any problems with her teeth in the past. I strongly do not recommend this toothbrush until they get an ADA approved brush head.
