Driftwood! Bad quality control. Jagged teeth. I really wanted to love this comb, but I couldn't understand why it kept sticking to my beard. I finally realized it was the tips of the teeth. They had to be filed before powder coating. As if it had been demolded leaving dangling fragments and raw edges (see photo). The rest of the comb and the interdental space is very smooth. Only the tips of all teeth are rough, which is a pretty important part. This was very annoying for my medium length beard. When he didn't stop, you could feel him pulling his hair out. I think I could file it myself, but then it's just bare metal instead of the advertised powder coat finish. It was definitely not a "smooth glide" as the title might suggest. Otherwise I like the comb. The spacing is perfect for a thick beard. It's heavier and stronger than I thought it would be, which I like. Strangely, it still bends fairly easily and was bent when it arrived. Although the metal is heavy, it bends easily, like a cheap fork. I will request a refund/exchange and see what happens.
