I'm a wool fanatic, I wear it as socks and other clothes all year round. In summer I even wear thin shirts made of 100% merino wool when cycling, at least until the humidity and heat get too high. Merino is soft, breathes well and doesn't absorb odors like synthetic fibers. This merino wool is machine washable and line dry which also makes it a great travel fabric. I ordered this shirt because I knew it was 70% wool, so I was expecting some difference from the soft texture of merino wool, but nowhere near a rough feel. exhibitions. I suspect the polyester part has a rough feel, too rough to be used as a base layer as intended. The sizing appears to be almost a size smaller than the XL for a comfortable fit. Not recommended, especially given the advertised price.
