I think I shouldn't turn down this device that doesn't support 2k or 4k, but if you compare the prices Unit ($566 to $739) on Blackmagic Smartscope Duo 4k (795.00), better buy Duo 4k. This device cannot downscale 2k or 4k signals and all you get is black when a 2k signal is applied. The ratio on these monitors is also a bit odd as parts of the edge are cut off and the power connector is kind of pointless. After one shot, I cut off the barrel connector and soldered on a 4-pin XLR Neutrik because the power connector in the rack kept falling out of the back of the unit. I wish I hadn't bought Superscope instead. It doesn't have any front panel controls, but even though this thing has a ton of buttons on the front, you'll never use them. So -1 star for no downscaling support and bad network connection.
