About 7 months ago I bought a Target microfiber blanket and noticed that even though I washed it regularly it was starting to stain and looked dirty. I decided I wanted one with a very rich, colorful design that would suit my boho and hippie themed bedroom. And I was looking for something that would have a little bit of cotton along with polyester. My bed is a double, but your smallest comforter was a queen, and since my bed is often used as a day bed with lots of throw pillows, I figured I could live with the extra width. I am pleased. The cover is washable but please note that the colors may fade somewhat over time. No problem. The style I aim for doesn't depend on the cover looking a bit worn. And the extra width is great as my bedspread now reaches to the floor on three sides giving my bed a daybed look. When I washed this bedspread once, I didn't realize that it hadn't faded at all and felt so soft. I'm happy enough to think I might very well buy another cover like this if I decide I need to change something, although the beautiful teal backing of this cover is amazing too. And the two pillows I added to the pillows really tie the set to my room. I am very happy.
