Not for V6 replacement parts
Went in "Fuel Filter for 2009 Caddy CTS" and this part fitted so I ordered it. It took some time for the installation to proceed. By the time I did this it was past the return date but found that the V6 CTS has an internal filter. In a tank. The V8 CTS appears to have an external filter but this is not stated in the description. Not that I saw it. I think I should have done more research beforehand, but I mistakenly assumed "Check Vehicle Fit" was correct. So this is the wrong part. money thrown away. Buyer Warning.
