Not for people with sensitive eyes. It's very bright when you turn it on. There is a digital screen on the back that allows you to control the settings. You can turn the brightness down to 5% but it's still very bright for me. This only applies to flat back screens, it doesn't stop with curved back monitors. The clamping system must optionally be supplied with the assembly. There is also glue on the suction. Not sure I need leftovers on the back of the screen if I have to keep turning it on and off. -1 star I will be back for the above reasons but overall it's well made and the price is worth the technology. Guarantee included. Easy to set up, just plug and play. You can probably use that kind of brightness for a good photo shoot too!
