Very nice camera, very elegant design, excellent zoom, excellent clarity. I've found that I don't use the touchscreen, but it works fine. I think this particular model combines point-and-shoot portability with some of the best features of larger cameras. Update: This is the second camera of this type that I have bought - I also have the previous model, the SZ-30. . They are quite elegant and classy indeed and I meant what I said above but this one went a little differently than the last one. For some reason after about a year the camera seems to have inhaled so much dust that the lens barrel is stuck and I started getting "zoom error" messages. Seems quite difficult to clean the dust. On its own, this would not cause poor visibility - the dust is drawn all the way into the camera and contaminates the inside of the lens and/or sensor, rendering the camera virtually unusable. I liked these models because I thought they looked very good, had fantastic zoom and resolution and were the perfect combination of size and quality, but when this model started showing dirt on the sensor - like the previous one - , it was a bit heartbreaking. . For the money they cost, this shouldn't be a problem.
