Review on Legnoart Ghemme Grand Sommelier Corkscrew by Steven Ali

After a long search I ordered this corkscrew as a gift for my husband because he wanted a really good corkscrew for Christmas and I wanted to give him something attractive and functional. He appreciates beautiful objects that are also useful. People raved about this corkscrew model with different grip finishes, so I thought it was the right choice. It arrived today and was such a disappointment! I assume it was returned by someone else because the paper wrapped around the wooden box was torn. Maybe the seller just repackaged and shipped it, hoping I wouldn't notice that the buffalo horn had separated from the metal on one side of the handle and got glue or some other substance stuck on the way into the engraving slots. Above. I can't give that to my husband. I have to hurry and find another Christmas present for him tomorrow (Christmas Eve) to replace him. I was so excited to buy him this corkscrew - it's nice and heavy in the hand as people have said and I've read very positive reviews about it here and elsewhere but it's the most disappointing purchase I've had in a long time made. , long time. What a piece of shit. Shame on whoever let this out of storage. Terrible craftsmanship - I will not be ordering another Legnoart product.
