adore the use of the camera! if you require manual settings but are not yet prepared to invest in a "DSLR," this is the best option for you. The value is almost unbeatable for what you get!:) It was crucial for me to do so. The fact that this camera has manual settings for both the shutter speed and aperture is one of the things that I enjoy best about it. This camera is perfect for you if you are interested in learning how to snap images but do not have the funds to purchase an expensive one. I came very close to never using the auto settings at all, but in general they appear to be of sufficient quality as well. These are some downsides: already somewhat grainy at an ISO 800 setting. The screen has a few scratches on it (although it is everywhere) video of a low production value (but you need to buy a video camera for this) Still, taking macro photographs is inconvenient due to the shadows that are cast by the lens. In general, this indicates that the camera need to be priced higher if it possesses such features.
