Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 SUV 305/35 R21 109T winter by Adam Nikodem ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

In August of 2022, I made a purchase for a brand new TLC-150 Prado V6 in the quantity of 265/60 R18 tires. The 19th week of the year 2022 is the date of manufacture, and this size was made in Poland. I put more than 5000 kilometers on them over the winter of 2022-2022. Because of the fluctuating temperatures in the winter in St. Petersburg, the pavement is covered with ice. It never even went into a skid on the road, so its behavior there is more than satisfactory. The spikes are still in their original positions (there are quite a few of them, so I didn't count each one individually). In a manner that was entirely foreseeable, the amount of gasoline used on the highway increased by approximately 0.5 liters per hundred as compared to the summer Dunlop AT22. After switching shoes, I was instantly aware of the increased coziness. There are no vibrations, and there is no pulling to the side of the road while I drive on the highway in the winter at speeds of up to 140 kilometers per hour. The pressure on the cold was maintained at 2.1 bar and did not require any further pumping.

Pros
  • A perfect equilibrium. Soft. They perform admirably on the rink. Not noisy.
Cons
  • Rapid accumulation of snow causes the lamellas to become blocked. There are just one transverse groove on the rubber lugs that have a herringbone pattern, not two as shown in the advertising photographs; the tread pattern is a little bit different from what is depicted in those pictures.
