I bought a couple of these to hold the 2 inch blinds on the French doors in our house. The size is correct, but once installed you will almost never be able to detach the lower slat rail. When you install these brackets, it's best not to raise the blinds back up. In contrast, the blind manufacturer (Smith + Noble) sells brackets with metal pins that can be pulled out (with a little force) to release the bottom track and allow the blinds to retract Luckily they were damn cheap and we just threw them away.
