In the United States, it is a federal offense to sell items marked 925 that are not sterling silver. These earrings are copper plated! I took a buffing cloth and wiped them off and the coating immediately peeled off revealing the copper underneath. Anyone selling jewelry made from it in the United States is committing a federal crime! These earrings must be removed by Revain, this is illegal and endangers anyone who purchases them. I'm so glad I tested them because I wanted to use them in my jewelry but it's illegal for me.
