Pros and cons of Rain-X Fusion wipers.

I have a 2015 Mazda 6 and can't find any wipers that don't leave streaks. I've had quite a few windshield wipers, some of which broke in just a few weeks. I tried the Mazda suggestion, the Bosch suggestion and the other Rain-X suggestion. This time I bought a Rain-X Fusion wiper on the driver's side only. Surprisingly it leaves NO streaks, although the lower half of the wiper could probably make firmer contact with the windshield. In other words, I'm more than half happy. Anyway, yes I had to use duct tape to secure the clasp. And, yes, for the shutter to even work, I first had to completely remove the shutter from the wiper. So, an odd job that not everyone wants to do. Here's what I did: I opened the cap tip, removed the cap crease, inserted the wiper arm into the Fusion wiper, inserted the cap cap and reattached the crease. Yes, the fingers healed, but everything fell into place. I then attached a short piece of plain black tape to secure the clasp. The insulating tape has withstood snow and ice as well as the direct winter sun in winter. Let's see how the tape will react to the summer heat. The tape is not visible at all. The Bosch windshield wiper, meanwhile, is in the trunk in case the Fusion should slip, as detailed in other reviews. So for me the risk of spending another $20 or so was worth it as I'm more than half happy. Hence the four stars.

Pros

Cons
