Egypt has strict standards and requires clear labeling when dealing with Egyptian cotton. It was made in China with no cotton origin labeling. The label identifies the wipes as "Apple Jacks". As advertised, the towel is said to be an "Egyptian staple” for a long time, but it is not. I bought these to replace a set of 6 year old Restoration Hardware 800gsm white spa sheets. These towels, after one wash and dry, are at best ½ stack of 6 year old towels. This is definitely NOT 800 GSM. The quality of the stitching is very poor with open pockets at the top and bottom of the towel so it's doubtful they'll survive a few dozen wash and dry cycles. Not worth half the price, look elsewhere, don't waste your money.
