Stable, but the pen holder is not.

This pen holder looks pretty cool and feels pretty solid. However, it doesn't do what it's supposed to. Hold your pens. He does not sit up straight and leans to one side. (See photos: on the left as it is without being held upright as in the photo on the right) I would not recommend this to anyone until the design is fixed. A pen holder that doesn't hold pens securely is pretty much useless.
