This item WAS a brass watch when I bought it - DOA watch. The seller replaced it with a compass. My last attempt to verify this was declined, so I won't add a photo as I suspect someone on the other end has prejudged that I'm posting a review that isn't true. I'll add pictures later because I think it's important. The clock was wrong. I double checked the batteries I tried and they were all fine, so the watch is 100% defective. t parallel to the wall. Due to its nature, it leans forward. Clocks are not usually tilted. It was a sloppy production situation. If they had better quality control on both parts this would be a great watch for the money. But as it is, it's useless. If it was just a clock component I could probably buy the $10 part at a craft store and have it fixed, although I wouldn't have to. However, tilt. it wouldn't be easy to fix. Either a solution that I shouldn't do with a new product. Note that the watch is also very heavy for its size. Not a deal breaker, but in case this list turns back to a brass porthole clock, you might want to know about the weight of this clock.
