I needed a pair of 100% cotton bike shorts for a tie-dye project. These ones were decently priced on prime, so I decided to try them out. I am usually a size L/XL or size 14 in pants, so I would have liked to order these in XL, but they were out of stock so I sized up to XXL. I didn't want to size down because other reviews suggested the fabric was sheer and sizing down would cause more stretch and accentuate the sheerness.Despite being too large, they were still fairly see through (I had to wear them with nude undies). They were super comfy, and very stretchy. They, however, took the dye very well and turned out great.I don't know if i would choose to purchase these again, perhaps as a pair of shorts to wear under dresses to prevent my thighs from rubbing, but was very happy with my end result.
