Update from 10/02/17. After several orders I am still impressed by the consistently high quality of Woodpeckers dowels. Great offer for hobbyists! Updated 01/17/17. I previously gave a good review on my first order. I have since ordered more packs and am happy to report that the quality of the product is very consistent from pack to pack: true to size, no additional refinishing required, all parts can be used to make cat toys for sale. to raise funds for a non-profit cat rescue group I work with. (Craft shop packages often have a defect or split that I have to save for non-sale use.) A+ product, highly recommended for crafters! Original post: I use this stick size when making a knit stick. -Cat toys to be sold for rescues must make the tree look good and be very smooth in the hand. They met expectations for size/length uniformity, minimal imperfections in the wood, good even cuts without the need for additional sanding. Very happy with this product!
