Review on Ultimate Protection: Encased Galaxy Note 8 Rugged Belt Case - Military Grade Armor Cover with Holster Clip (Black) by Darcy Rud

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Replacement case for Seidio Note 8! YUP! Very similar to the Seidio Note 3 case and holster.

***It doesn't have a built in kickstand***If you enjoyed good old Seidio then this is the one Replacement for it in the form of a holster and the like in the store. I had a Seidio Note 3 case that lasted 5 years and bought an extra holster when I accidentally broke the original I bought. Purchased again from Seidio Revain Note 8 and received a defective, counterfeit or just plain inferior product. Came back and bought this. The holster is constructed almost the same, but with more texture and inlaid lines. It clicks every time you adjust the clip's position. Identical to the image shown in the product image. The holster is not very strong. There's a chance you can easily damage it (the clip) if you're not careful, but like I said I've only had to replace my old Seidio once in 5 years and as it's so identical I think it'll last the same becomes. . As long as I'm careful The body material resembles the "plastic" material of mass-produced industrial shelving and has a smooth back. Unlike the old and new Seidio, this case consists of 3 layers. Inner jelly, soft skeleton frame and then a hard shell that "cuts in two" to push together and lock. It's easy to set up. See the line in the product image that leads to the bottom base? This is where the 3 separates. Layer not in the middle but 15% from the bottom to the top After putting my phone in the case and looking at the front of the screen, one gets a bit nervous because it doesn't appear like the case has "edges", to hold on to. Glass screen from touch when looking down. It really is. I apply a ruler and from the screen to the table surface there is about 3cm (seems) clearance. And of course it touches the screen when you lay it face down on a soft, pliable material like a rug or blanket, so buy a screen protector if you're worried about small scratches, I don't know if the case protects the phone if it falls face down. To solve this problem I had to buy a metal glue stand from Spigen. I bought 2. 1 was put under the camera and the other was put on the 15% part to even out the balance. 1 stand works with it, but 2 is better and you have no table wobble.
