The waist of this dress came to about 1-2” above where my natural waist is, so it looks a bit odd with or without the sash. The sash is too short for my 32” waist. Also, I feel like the slim part of the sleeves should come down to my elbow, but it doesn’t, it ends about 2-3” above my elbow. I feel like the dress was cut for "petites” in terms of bodily proportions. The dress has potential still with a replacement for the belt. I love the gray-blue color. It is both sophisticated and calming, colorful but subdued. The texture of the dress is perfect for showing off elegant textured leather accessories like lizard and crocodile. It does make me look matronly though. That’s not hard since I am 5’4” and 170lbs.
