Review on 💄 Maybelline New York Color Sensational Made for All Lipstick, Matte Red Lipstick, SEO-optimized Shade 382: RED FOR ME by Amanda Davis

I'm a semi-Asian MAC NC20/Maybelline Fit Me 120 who has avoided pink lipstick for years. The makeup artists at the MAC counter and at Sephora (including Anastasia Beverly Hills, Kat Von D, and Tarte) helped me pick colors that looked *good* but still weren't my favorite lipstick color. Saw pink here for a good price so thought I'd take a chance. So glad I did! So cheesy but I felt sooo good applying this shade and I saw right away how flattering it was instead of playing with lip liner to make it more flattering like I've had to do in the past. I have a warmer yellow to my skin which can make it difficult to find "nude" or lighter shades of lipstick. I will say that I was very skeptical about this Shades for All idea, but now I want to try some other options under this umbrella. I'm really impressed with how well made the Maybelline lipsticks are. This is the third lipstick I've bought from this brand and will be buying more. They are just as good (if not better) than lipsticks 5 times more expensive.
