I have two older cats. One is obese and the other has recently started losing weight. I tried to get him to gain weight and reduce his food intake until his next vet appointment. An obese person does not bother with this food, while a thin person does. I wish there was more meat here although I like the attitude of the company. I can still buy this along with freeze dried raw materials instead of pellets. Instead of trying to scratch the box; I add some water and shake it up and then pour it into a bowl. I do add some water anyway since a skinny cat prefers more sauce than none at all.
