Lots of negative reviews but from my point of view this is a great product. Here's the deal: 1. You pull the hair out of your body. It will hurt. However, it will hurt less over time since regrowth is generally thinner and not all hairs grow back at the same time. You must follow the instructions. If you heat the strips too much or not warm enough, you won't remove the hair and you may leave a sticky residue. This can be removed with wipes or baby oil.3. I've never had a problem with skin tears. I used the strips on my legs, bikini line and above my upper lip. I haven't tried it on the more sensitive lower bikini/Brazilian areas where I can't get a good angle to put the strips on. I leave that to the professionals. Overall, I find this product significantly easier, faster, and less messy than bath wax or Nad's. After hair removal with strips in the spring, I support them with an epilator in the summer. I think it would be too painful to epilate after just shaving all winter.
