I bought my monitor on May 25th, 2021 and this monitor was a great upgrade to my old generic monitor. I can see colors much more accurately and the range is very good. I felt like I had plenty of room to put all the toolbars and brushes on and I still have a good area to work on. However, over the past few days I've noticed a few things that are starting to bother me on the monitor, the first being the image burn-in issue. I noticed that after working with software like Photoshop for about 2-3 hours and then switching to another application like my web browser to modify podcast songs, I could see Photoshop UI afterimages appearing on the screen displayed in black or gray areas. As far as I know this problem is specific to some LCD monitors, but I understand that this occurs when the same static image is displayed on the monitor for a long period of time, 20 hours or even more, but ok was a very noticeable one Screen fire in just a few hours, that doesn't seem normal to me. The second problem is that just a few days ago I noticed a small bright round spot inside on the left side of the screen. Screen, I cleaned the screen to make sure it was caused by an internal component, I unplugged the screen, cleaned and squeezed the rear vents, then left the monitor on a soft towel on my desk as I cleaned it then plugged it back in, the bright spot is gone, I did some research and it seems like it could be caused by dust inside the monitor or even plastic lenses that fell off from using the monitor. Again, this is a problem that would show up on a monitor after years of use, not just a few months. For the past few lags, I've been keeping an eye on my monitor to see if the issues I mentioned persist or change after cleaning. and monitor maintenance, the bright spot problem seems to have gone away, but screen burn-in is still a persistent problem. As mentioned I was incredibly happy with the monitor until these issues started to appear, but now that the bright round spot seems to have gone the burn-in issue isn't actually that big of an issue, I just set apps to full screen to they hide the All panel during operation, and when the screen shows a color other than black or gray, it's barely noticeable. I especially recommend this model if you use an all-in-one monitor because for me the difference is very noticeable.
