Review on 💻 Macally USB Wired Keyboard: Space-Saving Aluminum Design for Mac and Windows PC - Travel Friendly 78-Key Apple Compatible Keyboard with LED Indicators by Devon Leach

PROS: (1) Very nice for typing. I think there are 2 factors that made it this way: - The buttons are quite responsive (I would even call it "responsive" but in a good way). That means you can print on it with ease (as long as you don't try too hard). - Key travel and rebound tension are spot on. (2) Good workmanship with metal case/base. (3) Wired pairing is a big plus. (4) The price is reasonable considering the quality CONS of the product: (1) Picky comment: I wish the USB cable was detachable from the keyboard case (plug-in type), so the keyboard and cable can be packed separately. Of course, this in no way violates the terms of the contract. Here is some background on how and why I bought this product: I also currently have the latest version of the Apple Magic Keyboard. While it's much better than the built-in keyboard found on MacBook Pro laptops (2017 and 2018 models), I've always felt it falls a bit short in terms of feedback, depth of key travel, and aspects of tactile response. I also found that there were sometimes disconnect and reconnect episodes in wireless mode. Although each time only lasted 1-2 seconds, it was a little annoying. So I looked for an alternative to the compact keyboard. I read all the comments/ratings (both positive and negative) on this compact/wired/metal Macally model before ordering it. How happy am I with my decision! Now typing becomes a real pleasure. I now use it for my two laptops (work and personal) while keeping an Apple keyboard as a backup keyboard.
