Don't expect better grip or more "protection " against dropped controls
The rubber is slippery. The rubber parts that hold the lid in place can be easily detached. Worst of all, the rubber bands that are supposed to "secure" your hand just pop out during light playing (after a few moments of the song). microfiber cloth, microfiber. cost $23 so I went back. If you're looking for an item that really "fixes" your controllers in your hands better, this isn't it.
