Too much noise + poor workmanship even with filter. I had high hopes for this amp because of its configuration and power output. Ultimately, I was disappointed with the sound and build quality. I didn't expect that either. I have bought other class D amps at this price point which sound much better with little to no glitches. It's possible what I got had a solder leak connecting the connection, but I didn't see anything. Examining the board carefully, I found that the soldering was poor and some pins were 2mm or longer. I tried trimming some of them but that didn't help improve the sound quality. The same power supply and sound source works great with other class D amps I own.
