I was starting to spend more time on the computer and I desperately needed a stand to keep my neck, shoulders and body from hurting at work. I chose this stand because it securely holds my 17" laptop. I really love this stand. It comes ready to use, is a good weight and stays in place. The stand has holes for air and heat circulation and some rubber/silicone on the two front handles to give a little more grip.It's very difficult to get the stand into the position you want it to be but it's great because it stays in place.Try to be even pull, not just on one side. My only thought for improvement would be to make the bottom panel a bit heavier. I don't know if this is recommended or not, but I type on my laptop the same as without it and it hasn't been a problem yet. Studying, durable, high quality and easy to use I highly recommend this product.
